Center for Family Resources provides emergency food assistance as well as rent and utility assistance to individuals in Passaic County based on verification of needs and availability of funds.

This application will need to be filled out in its entirety to pick up food. You can print it and bring it with you, or just get one when you arrive at the location.
Prevention Fund Assistance Application:
The application for Prevention Assistance can be mailed to you or you can print it here and return to the Highlands Family Success Center (1801 Greenwood Lake Turnpike, Hewitt, NJ 07421). To be considered for an application review for approval, all questions must be answered, and all pages completed. Any unanswered information will render the form incomplete, and the application will not be reviewed. This funding is only available for Passaic County residents.
The following documents are required for applications to be accepted: Household income, which includes 12 consecutive weeks of current pay within the past 90 days; award letters for SSI, SSD, TANF, SNAP, GA, alimony, child support, etc., birth certificates for each child under 19 years of age; social security cards for all household members; photo ID for all adults; current month’s copy of utility bill, all pages. Only one month of assistance is available for submitted application which includes rent, utility payments and mortgage assistance (principal and interest only will be paid). For mortgage assistance the current mortgage bill/statement must be submitted.
